Calton Hill, Edinburgh, Vow Renewal

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Todd and Tony to photograph their ten year vow renewal at the top of Calton Hill. They married ten years ago in San Francisco and flew to Edinburgh to renew their vows because it’s one of their favourite cities. We talked about family, our joint love of musicals, travelling and appreciating life in general. We found a secluded spot and Finlay from The Pickled Piper piped them before and after they said some very special words to each other.

After their ceremony we walked around Calton Hill stopping at some of my favourite photo spots and then I asked them if they’d like to extend their photo session to go on to the Royal Mile. We were all up for it so we walked there and had a fab time with all the tourists there too.

Todd and Tony, thank you so much for having me play a part in your special day, I’ll remember it forever.
