About Me
Hi, I’m stacey
I didn’t plan on being a photographer when I grew up. It was never really on my radar until I started taking photos as a hobby, and then realised I’m actually pretty good at it.
I’ve always loved getting great pictures of my kids and that’s what I love giving back to other people. Knowing that you’ll look at an image and just love it because it’s your baby; and in future years you’ll look back and remember how tiny they were, how cheeky they were and how they always did that awkward smile that you nagged them about at the time but now you love seeing their character.
I first picked up a camera 14 years ago and I’ve never regretted it. I concentrated on big weddings for a lot of that time but now I want a slower pace, taking my time with the sessions I do and really just having fun with the families who book me. I’ll still photograph weddings but not those big stressful ones!
I'm a proud parent of three amazing teenage children. My passion for interior design and decorating keeps me constantly inspired, and you'll often find me scrolling through Pinterest for the latest trends and ideas.
Despite working in a field that relies heavily on social media, I must confess that I'm not the best at it. But what I lack in social media savvy, I make up for in real-life connections. I can chat away to anyone and come away friends.
I love spending cosy nights in with a good book, but I'm equally enthusiastic about bar hopping with friends. Chatty and friendly by nature, I get along with almost everyone I meet.
I truly believe you should choose someone to photograph your big moments who you get on well with and trust to do the best job for you.
Last year I went to a huge photography conference in Vienna. You’ll find the photos from the shoot session in the blog tab. There were 300 photographers from all over the world there, the talks were amazing and while it took me out of my comfort zone it was also hugely inspiring.
This year I’m attending more workshops to constantly improve my skills and meet fellow photographers.
Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to connecting with you!
